Location

The city of Junín de los Andes is located to the southwest of the province of Neuquén, on the banks of the Rio Chimehuin. Nearby is the Lanin National Park, which protects its forests, rivers, lakes and wildlife.
It is reachable by airplane to Chapelco airport or by land, by national route N 40. From Chile, by provincial route N 60, through Mamuil Malal pass.
